Our story
The SS is for Sydney and Scarlett.
SS Cookie Co. is a family business named for our two daughters. They are the reason the name means something, and the reason we wanted to build something small, real and ours.
We bake in our home kitchen here in Homestead, in small batches, one drop a week. Every cookie is weighed, timed and tasted until the recipe comes out the same way every Saturday. Then it goes into a kraft box with a blush band and a thank-you card, and we bring it to your door.
The girls inspire the brand. The cookies give our neighbors a reason to come back. That is the whole idea.

Where do you deliver?
Right now we deliver only within the Homestead neighborhood in Schertz, Texas. The order form checks your address before checkout. We are not offering pickup or delivery outside Homestead during the pilot.
When do I need to order by?
Orders open Monday and close Thursday evening (Central Time) for that week's Saturday delivery. Each drop is capped, so if it sells out before Thursday, ordering closes early. Exact dates and times are shown on the order page.
How does delivery work on Saturday?
We bake and pack on Friday and deliver on Saturday. You will get a text when we are on the way. If you will not be home, tell us in the delivery notes where you would like the box left.
What allergens are in the cookies?
Across the menu our cookies contain wheat, milk, eggs, soy and almonds, and everything is baked in the same home kitchen, so we cannot guarantee any cookie is free of a specific allergen. Each flavor's own "Contains" line and full ingredient list are shown on this page and again before you pay.
How should I store them?
They are best the day they arrive. Keep them in the closed box or an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or freeze for up to a month and warm gently before serving.
Do you take custom or large orders?
Not during the pilot. We keep the menu to four cookies and one weekly drop so every box comes out right. If you have a bigger occasion in mind, send us a note and we will see what is possible after launch.
Is SS Cookie Co. a licensed bakery?
We are a Texas cottage food operation, which means we bake in our home kitchen. This product was produced in a private residence that is not subject to governmental licensing or inspection. Labels list the product name, ingredients and allergens.
